For the past 164 years, the Academy of Saint Elizabeth has been the Best Decision Ever for thousands of young women. Joining our SEAsterhood means becoming part of our incredibly welcoming school community, accepting the rigors that come with a challenging academic program, and taking part in the numerous extracurricular activities that foster moments of bonding.

Looking to discover how the Academy will be your best decision ever? There are numerous in-person opportunities for prospective students to visit the school, including our fall Open Houses, as well as our Panther for a Day Program (open to students who have completed an application).

Steps to Apply

  • Step 1: Explore

    The Academy of Saint Elizabeth hosts two Open House events during the fall for prospective students and families to explore the many opportunities offered here. Our Open Houses include a look at academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, counseling program, and more. 

    The Academy of Saint Elizabeth's Fall 2024 Open House dates will take place on Sunday, October 6 (Two Sessions: 11:00 AM | 12:30 PM) and Wednesday, November 6 (6:30 PM).

    Students who have completed the online application will be able to schedule Parent and Student Interviews, as well as their Panther for a Day visit. If any part of the online application is not completed, students will not be able to schedule a Panther Visit. Through the MyAcademy portal, you will be notified of any missing items from your application.
  • Step 2: Apply

    Applying to the Academy is simple! All prospective students must complete our online application to be considered for acceptance to the Academy. Once you open the MyAcademy portal, you will have a seamless experience that makes it easy to apply, track application status, and request transcripts and recommendation letters.

    Application Deadline: Friday, December 13, 2024

    Financial Aid Information

    Students who have completed the online application will be able to schedule Parent and Student Interviews, as well as their Panther for a Day visit. If any part of the online application is not completed, students will not be able to schedule a Panther Visit. Through the MyAcademy portal, you will be notified of any missing items from your application.
  • Step 3: Test

    The Academy participates in the COOP/HSPT program and is a requirement of all 8th Grade applicants. To register online for the COOP/HSPT, use the link below. Registration begins around September 1, 2024.

    The 2024 COOP/HSPT Exam will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024.

  • Step 4: Visit

    Students who have completed the online application will be able to schedule Parent and Student Interviews, as well as their Panther for a Day visit. If any part of the online application is not completed, students will not be able to schedule a Panther Visit. Through the MyAcademy portal, you will be notified of any missing items from your application.
  • Step 5: Join our SEAsterhood

    Acceptance Letters will be mailed out in early January 2025. Acceptances will be found in your MyAcademy portal as well.

    Once accepted, students can join our SEAsterhood through the MyAcademy portal. Information concerning registration can be found in the portal, as well as in the Acceptance Packet mailed home to all accepted students and their families.

Transfer to The Academy

  • 1. Inquiry

    Students seeking to transfer into the Academy of Saint Elizabeth should contact the Academy's Admissions Office to discuss the prospects of transferring and if there are seats available. Call the Admissions Office at 973-290-5225 or via email.

  • 2. Apply

    Parents of applicants must request Official Transcripts and standardized test scores be sent to the Admissions Office as soon as possible.

    Use the MyAcademy portal to have a seamless experience that makes it easy to apply and track application status. 

  • 3. Visit

    Once a transfer application is completed, prospective transfer students and their families may be asked to schedule a visit to the Academy with time allotted to both a Parent Interview and a Student Interview.

    Information concerning a visit to the Academy will be sent from the Admissions Office.
  • 4. Placement

    Once accepted, transfer students must schedule a Transfer Placement Exam with the Admissions Office. Call the Admissions Office at 973-290-5225 or via email.
